Forthcoming decisions on Cornwall Council

Agenda item 11: Local Transport Plan 3 public consultation document. This item is intended to approve the publication of a consultation document on the next Local Transport Plan. Each council is required by central government to publish a plan for how they want their local transport infrastructure to develop over the next 20 years. The draft proposal from Cornwall Council marks a significant shift away from previous plans with a heavy emphasis on promoting the creation of a sustainable public transport system across Cornwall. The public will have 3 months to comment on the proposal. I urge everyone to read it and to support it.
